Review and assess each of the dominant (new world) white varietals: Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris/Grigio

Discern between the regions these wines hail from: Understand first-hand how varied Chardonnay can taste, dependent on the oak / stainless steel treatment and climate; or why and how a Sauvignon Blanc from the Margaret River tastes different than from Marlborough New Zealand.

Discern specific varietal traits using the latest olfactory kits

Including an assessment of the nuances in aroma and oak treatment

- The course will assess both Old and New World wines; however the focus will be on Australian wines. Each night will include as assessment of six to ten premium wines.
