Baked Goats Chevre Figs on Caramelised Avocado with a Riesling match
Last week we asked you to submit your favourite avocado recipe matched to a suitable wine to be in the chance to win a place in our Intermediate White Wine Course. We received a number of fantastic entries, however the one below was our favourite! Thanks Adam! We hope you enjoy the Intermediate White Wine course!
Method
Halve fresh figs
Put a half teaspoon of goats chevre in each, sprinkle with brown sugar and bake at 180 degrees for 5 minutes.
Quickly cook cubed avocado in a hot pan with aged balsamic, brown sugar and pommegranate molasses.
Lift avocado out of pan, place on plate, top with figs and pour a few drops of the balsamic mixture over the top.
Serve with riesling.
