When Paradigm Hill was planted it followed 30 years of research by George and Ruth Mihaly. Over the many years they learnt about wine, they considered the dream of owning their own vineyard and making wine as idealist, and so concentrated on their 'other' careers.

"We have always been passionate about food and wine," Says George. "And our obsessive pursuit of quality and commitment to ecologically responsible practices led us to establish our ideal and environmentally sustainable vineyard and home site on the Mornington Peninsula."

It is true that the Mihaly's have always taken an "all or none" approach to life, so when they made the change to follow their winemaking dream their diligence was a crucial part of their now success...
